Ramma develops a harmless, albeit obsessive, crush on Annie. At one point he makes a comment about how Annie will be the mother of his children.

Kip makes passes at Roxy's mother. Nothing that wouldn't fall under a G-rating, and nothing sexual or crass.

Three characters, including the protagonist, are tied up and nearly killed in an explosion (see "Frightening & Intense Scenes").

Kip falls from a high bridge (played for comedy; he's dazed but he isn't badly hurt).

A live fish belonging to Roxy is nearly killed and eaten.

Kip is hit in the face and gets a bruised nose.

Ramma is knocked unconscious after walking into a post.

Mr. Tibers has a corncob pipe as part of an embarrassing role he has to play in a Mark Twain skit. The pipe is just a prop, and at no point does the actor actually smoke it.

Roxy, Annie and Ramma are tied up in an abandoned mill and nearly blown up in an explosion. All three characters survive, but the scene may be intense for younger viewers.

Annie has a disturbing flashback of being caught in a fishing net and trapped. She screams, shattering numerous glassware items, and flees the building she's in.

Roxy and Mr. Tibers sing a rapid, loud song to help Annie remember things. The scene is intended to be fun, but may upset younger children as it becomes very loud and Annie appears confused and frightened by it at times.

There is a reoccurring theme of environmental pollution; toxic waste barrels are seen dripping green fluid on the beach, and it's discovered that the Environmental Protection Agency needs to clean up radioactive waste from a mill where Roxy had been in.
