The violence throughout the film is bloody but not very graphic. In one scene three boys are murdered (implied not shown) and afterwards we see a severed arm and head as well as the bloody bodies of the boys. There is quite a lot of blood throughout the film and it can be quite shocking but not explicit of graphic even when there is focus on aftermaths.
A man gags a teenager with halothane, hangs him upside-down from a tree and slits his throat (seen from behind), with lots of blood spilling into a bucket. He is interrupted by a dog and flees just before its owners arrive, finding the body.
Bullies nick a boy across the face with a horse whip and we see the bloody scratch.
A vampire attacks a man and wrestles with him in the snow. She takes a bite out of his neck and begins to drain his blood (with disturbing sound effects). Afterwards, she snaps his neck, killing him. His body twitches violently. We see blood on her face, and later, a man dumps the corpse into a pond.
A boy slits his palm and tries to make a blood-brother pact with the vampire, who starts frantically slurping the puddle of blood that he made on the floor.
A boy strikes another boy across the face with a large pole and damages his ear. We see blood where the extremity has been split open as a teacher rushes over to help him.
The corpse of a man is seen being cut out of an icy pond and hauled onto shore.
The vampire attacks a woman and bites her neck, but is kicked off by another man before she could kill her. We see blood on her face.
The vampire kills a man who tries to murder her; we hear scuffling behind a closed door and see his bloody hand desperately clutching at the door frame before he dies, leaving blood smeared over the wall. His body is seen afterwards, with blood covering his face and neck.
Covered in blood, the vampire walks up to a boy and kisses him, consensually. Blood is seen on the boy's mouth afterwards.
