There are several scenes of topless women, in topless bars and in a brothel. In one scene, a few topless women in the brothel are visible through second and third-floor windows facing the street. At least one or two of those women are shown in closeup pressing her breasts up against the window and moving them around.

The movie centers around Santa Muerte, a death-worshipping cult. There are murders tied to this cult... a few strangulations and one murder in which a man's throat is cut via a broken bottle. A chicken's head is cut off and its blood drained into a vessel; then used to "paint" symbols of the cult's worship on faces. There are several instances where a knife is used to cut the palm of a hand so that the blood can be used in a ritual.

I didn't count, but there are probably about a dozen uses of the f-word including f...ing. There are a few other curse words also.

One scene near the beginning shows a man taking a drink of hard liquor (e.g., whiskey). Several scenes take place inside bars.
