This movie starts out with everything going in reverse. Mary is riding in a car and the driver asks her to turn down the volume on her cd player. A woman in a lab coat Alice is telling the administrator, Andy that the lab is a mess and a rabbit is gone. He admin calls someone to tell them the rabbit is gone. The person who let the rabbit gone says the rabbit is very contagious. He thought that the researcher had a cure for the virus but it appears that the cure worked only on the rabbit and for a little bit of time and its not a permanent solution. The admin tells the person on the phone to call the CDC, the National Guard or anyone they want he has done his part and its not his problem. The administrator packs up his desk and we see a VHS tape labeled Down the Rabbit Hole Part 4. Alice is running in the forest and is calling for Jeff Lupus and he is now chasing Buggs the rabbit. Two men are sitting and talking about the weather and mention The Farmers Almanac. Buggs the bloody rabbit is watching the men. One man says Not all men are created equal, some are farmers. The rabbit is picked up by one of the men and the rabbit bites the man in the eye which the man holds and blood is coming down his hand were the eye used to be. Alice is still looking for Lupus. Cut to David in the kitchen talking about her cats with his girlfriend. They hear a scream and look outside to find that the cat has killed a rabbit and the rabbit is torn apart. The cat drags the rabbit in and thinking it dead, David touches the rabbit and it gets up and spits blood on David then chews on Davids leg. They get in the car and go to the hospital. Eve Lupus says they will be late to meet with the realtor and will have to call her . Mary says to tell the realtor that she has to take a piss. They pull into the Wink Mart and Mary goes. Alice looks at the farmer who got bit and he has his eye hanging out and bites the other framer and tears his throat out. The farmer who got bit is screaming his head off. Alice hides. The Realtor is waiting for Mary and her mom. She calls out and the farmer zombe with is eye out of his face attacks the realtor and the realtor sticks a pencil in the zombies eye but the zombie grabs the realtor and pulls her hair and rips her skin off her head and eats her brains. Davids head falls forward in the car and blood comes out of his mouth. He is a zombie and attacks his girlfriend and starts eating her leg. She gets a gun and shoots David in the head. Blood and guts go all over the inside of the car and all over her. She gets out of the car and goes to the other side of the car and opens the door. David falls out and she kicks him asking him why he had to be such an asshole. David comes alive and she shoots him three times more and he keeps coming. Mary and her mom drive by. Mary and her mom arrive at the house where the realtor was. Eve goes into the house and says hello..the realtor approaches Marys mom (the realtor has blood hanging off the back of her sweater). The realtor bites Eves lips off. The realtor is chewing on Eves face when a piece drops to the floor. Eve is laying on the floor with her teeth hanging out of her face when Mary enters the house. Eve comes alive and spits blood all over Mary. Mary runs out of the house with her mother chasing her. Alice comes out of hiding and two zombies chase her into the woods. The zombies get Alice but are then distracted by a noise in the woods. Three boys are walking along and are met by Lupus and are chased by the two zombies. Chris is impaled by a tree branch. Lupus digs into Chriss wound and blood spirts in Lupuss face. It is night and Lupus has a horrible dream. He wakes up to see the two zombies eating one of the boys. Entrails are hanging out of the bodies and the zombies are eating them like sausage. Lupus backs off. A campsite with one of the campers telling a scary story. A zombie attacks the story teller and the group thinks its a joke when one woman starts screaming. Zombies are attacking all the campers with the blood and guts coming out of the bodies. One man is tracked down and is eviscerated with his neck being torn out and his bowels coming out all over the place. The admin guy comes into the woods to bury a body. It is his wife Emma . The body starts to move and he pokes it with a shovel then hits the zombie in the head. The admin is surrounded by zombies and he tells the zombies to walk away but the zombie attacks the admin who gets the shovel and smashes the zombie in the head. The admin then pushes his thumbs into the zombies eyes. Then the admin teases the zombie with the shove, puts him onto the ground and then chops the zombies head in half. He shoves the zombie in a hole. Davids girlfriend and Mary are still not zombies and they go into a house. Teddy and Todd come into the house. Lupus has lost his mind. He is still looking for Buggs. Lupus comes into the house. Now there are 5. Lupus begins to yell loudly and the group stop him. The zombies are in the rain chasing the admin guy. He goes into the house. Now there are 6. They call Lupus fruit loops. Mary is sitting in the corner covered in blood rocking back and forth saying that they were all going to die. The admin guy says that he wants to capture a zombie to find out how to kill them. They are picking out which zombie to experiment on. They pick a woman in a nightgown (Andys wife.) The door is still open but they take the woman/zombie up to the bathroom. Fruit Loops is on the toilet and they put the zombie in the tub. Fruit Loops starts flirting with the woman zombie he has hallucinations about her being beautiful. They slice the zombies throat and blood squirts up into the admins Adam (scientist) face. They try hammering a screwdriver into the zombies head. The scientist is pulling out her brains and she is still moving. They then set her on fire and she dies. The kids want to use aerosol cans and a lighter to kill the zombies. Fruit Loops imagines Mary eating brains. < Flashbacks - He then imagines his talk with Andy about the cure for the virus and Alice getting promoted. Conversations about consequences, his job, his family etc. Star Trek poster on the wall of Lupuss office. > The zombies try to get into the house. The aerosol thing doesnt work. Alice wakes up in the woods then encounters zombies on the road eating people. A man dressed in military clothing is surrounded by zombies and shoots himself. Zombie Mayhem. Buggs is still crawling around. The rabbit starts to laugh when Alice beans him with a big rock. She says fucking rabbit and walks away. THE END. ********************************** A rabbit escapes from a shady university lab along with Jeffrey Lupus, an eccentric research scientist. Lupus partner Adam released the rabbit to ruin Lupus research and discredit him because Jeff had an affair with his wife Emma. What he doesnt realize is just how contagious the rabbit is and how long reaching the effects are when it comes in contact with humans. It doesnt take long before the rabbit has infected an entire rural community, turning its victims into mindless flesh eating monsters. One by one people affected by the outbreak find their lives hopelessly intertwined when they end up at a creepy old house trying to escape the creatures. Lupus is pursued by his lab assistant Alice who finds herself pursued by two crazed rednecks. Lupus, thanks to Adam, is slowly losing his mind and sees visions of rabbits everywhere. Adam becomes trapped in his own misdeeds when he kills his wife and she turns into one of the creatures. He finds himself using her as a guinea pig to see just what will kill them. Lupus rebellious daughter Mary is so traumatized by the fact that her own mother just tried to eat her, that she is unable to speak. She can only glare at her father who is so far gone he doesnt even recognize her. Tracy was the detective who got the goods on Adams wife and Lupus. She just shot her boyfriend in the head when the infected rabbit turned him into a mindless slobbering fool. He didnt die either and roams outside with the others, trying to find a way in. Teddy and Todd, are thieves on the run. Todd robbed Adams house a few weeks back and knows all his dirty little secrets. These six people may be the only survivors, the question is can they survive each other, or will the creatures get them first?
