Sex & Nudity
Moderate
A few bits of sexual references
A young man and young woman grab scarecrows and make-shift sex.
Violence & Gore
Severe
Lots and lots of blood and gore.
Villagers shoot a man trying to save teenagers.
Explosions happen.
The teens are hunted down one by one by the Horseman and decapitated so the Horseman can get his own head back.
A man get run over by a tow truck driven by his daughter.
Profanity
Moderate
Some SOBs
C9ap is said.
This is actually pretty mild for an R rated movie.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Moderate
Teenagers drink and a man smokes a cigarette.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
Severe
All of the scenes involving decapitation are pretty intense.
The Horseman may frighten some towards the end when he starts to get his head back.
Most of the movie is about curses and junk which may frighten lots of people.
Honestly this movie should have a PG-13 rating, but since it is SyFy I guess they would put it as R for the fun of it.
