The Fatal Oath (1991)

A documentary about the uncontrolled violence and sexual abuse in the Soviet Army barracks. Every year in the Soviet Union hundreds of men of 18-20 years old begin a 2-3 year service in the Soviet Army. Every conscript must take the military oath. 1986-1989 more than 15000 conscripts died during their military service. This number does not include the 14000 Soviet soldiers that died in Afghanistan 1979-1989.
