Barend and Vera are struggling to find a way to tell their rich aunt Minnie about their divorce plans. When Vera invites the old lady to Barend's practice, the two estranged lovers must pretend that they are still together. This means that their new flames, Freek and Dolly, to pretend to be a couple as well in order to keep an eye on Barend and Vera.
