Lucien is a very good fencer and an eternal bachelor. An old friend asks him to take care of his sick daughter Janine. He prepares a room and buys a doll for the girl who turns out to be older than he expected. Also, she happens to be a fan of his after she saw him on a magazine. They both fall in love.
