Horror Thriller

Three backpackers travel into the Australian Outback only to find themselves stranded at Wolf Creek crater. Once there, they are encountered by a bushman, Mick Taylor, who offers them a ride back to his place. Little do the three know that their adventure into the Outback would be a complete nightmare after the backpackers find a way to escape.

The film is about a serial killer, who is very haunting. The film has a feeling of suspense and horror, in part due to its isolated setting.

A corpse hangs from a cave wall and is missing from the waist down and it is suggested that two dogs have eaten the missing parts.

A young woman drives a car frantically, a man chases her in another car and shoots out her car tire; she flips in the car, crawls out, he shoots her in the back (she falls and we see blood on her clothing), he shoots her again at close rang, and puts her body in the car trunk (where there is another body) and burns it.

A man is shot in the eye: blood splatters in the windshield of a car and we see blood and matter on the car and ground around him.

A young woman shoots a man in the side of the neck: blood spurts, he falls to the ground, and she hits him with the gun.

A young man is chained to a wall by the wrists and two vicious dogs bark and snarl at him (he screams frantically while pulling his blood-soaked hands free).

A young woman sees a decayed, blood stained human corpse in the distance, in the same room where another woman is bound.

A woman is tied to a beam, a man loads a gun, aims it at her and pulls the trigger, but it does not discharge; he then shoots again but the bullet misses her.

A man shoots at two women trying to escape in a truck: they drive frantically and nearly drive over a cliff, and they get out of the car and push it over the side.

A man cuts a woman loose from her ropes, and smacks her head against a blunt object.

A woman wakes up bound in a shed; she is frightened (it is implied that the water she and her two friends drank had been drugged).

We see a sleeping bag with stains of blood on it.

Two young women cling from the side of a sheer cliff trying not to be seen by a man who's following them.

Several men in a bar act threateningly toward two young women and a young man and make crude remarks to them.

A car explodes and a man goes to investigate.

Three young people are stuck in their car that has died in an isolated area and are frightened when they see lights approaching them.

A man describes a pig taking a dog's head off with its tusks and the dog's legs continuing to move while the blood was spurting.
