Compared to the other VeggieTales movies, this one is a bit heavier on the thematic elements. Mr. Nezzer does not hold back saying intensely about his plans to destroy the church. Talk of death, his visions where there is no Easter and the church getting destroyed and seeing Edmund no longer alive, all the above may be distressing to some children.
