I Remember (2005)

Guiga, born in the city of Salvador, at a provincial time, he discovers sexuality and its limits in contact with her mother, Aurora. With his father, Guilherme, fearsome, austere and exacerbated Puritan, will live many conflicts. He grows up driven by Catholic guilt, marked by his mother's death even before adolescence. As a young man, the protagonist is angry at his father and, during the military dictatorship, lives its most active phase.
