In flashbacks, a man imagines several ways of killing his wife. Each idea is briefly shown. One scene shows him wrapping a rope around her neck to strangle her. Another shows him hacking her head with a hatchet. We do not see a clear angle of this happening, but we do see two strokes and blood spattering through the air (the most disturbing scene). A third scene shows her drinking tea in the background, as her face falls on the table (she is presumedly poisoned).
In a flashback sequence, a woman has stabbed her husband to death. The stabbing happens offscreen, but we see a couple shots of the crime scene, including the man's chest covered in blood.
A diary is discovered, where a man has drawn violent photos of ways to kill his wife (very briefly shown).
Earlier a scene of a World War One battlefield was shown, with shooting and injuries. Not particularly graphic.
A character is shown with numerous healed amputations and also attempting to lobotomize himself. We are told that he used a nail gun, and we see him put the gun to his forehead, pull the trigger, and some blood spatters on the wall behind him (quick scene).
A woman is found dead in a chair, apparently smothered. Her mouth and eyes are wide open, and there is dried blood on her chin. This is shown numerous times.We also see a man pick up a pillow that has some blood on it. This is presumed to be a murder weapon.
A man squeezes his hand around a glass goblet and it explodes. We later see a nurse picking out shards of glass from the open wound.
A dead body is seen on a table in a morgue.
A man leads several people up on top of a building in a chase. There is some pushing and punching. Not violent, but a suspenseful chase.
A man collapses and falls off a stage during a concert. We later hear that he died of asphyxiation and was likely murdered.
In a flashback, we see a person murder a woman by clubbing her in the head and smothering her with a pillow (quick scene).
