No sex. There are some romantic themes and brief rear nudity.

In a brief wide-angle shot, Jorgito's backside is visible as he is naked in the shower. In some scenes, he can be seen wearing nothing but tight briefs, with or without socks. In one of these, shown from his side, he is effectively nude while he is sitting on a commode, his underwear pulled down around his legs.

Malú can be seen wearing nothing but a shirt and panties, in some scenes. One of them is a rear closeup of her adjusting the panties. In another scene, she wears a sort of makeshift two-piece bathing outfit on the beach, stripping down in the presence of a male peer at that. Much later, her backside can also be seen as she pulls up her shorts after relieving herself in the woods, a very small portion of below the waist being briefly visible.

Disguised as a girl, a young boy is awkwardly but nicely stared upon and smiled at by another young boy, as if to be attractive on account of being perceived as a girl. This is borderline sexual, but not much can be read into, given the boys' ages. The disguised child is embarrassed and has loosely "phobic" grimace on his face.

There is a scene in which two children are laying down, facing up, in such a way that the girl's head is resting on the boy's bicep and shoulder, and they are alone. It's not sexual, but the imagery may present an "intimate" vibe.

No gore. The violence is extremely mild or otherwise implied.

Two young boys scuffle and wrestle in a school courtyard, with the other schoolchildren surrounding them, but no striking or pushing is shown. A woman breaks up the fight. One of the boys is left with some discoloration of his cheek from bruising.

In the opening scene, some little boys play shootout with toy rifles of various kinds.

There is a brief, very mild scuffle between two children fighting over food, whereby the girl lightly strikes the boy a bit, and they both shove portions of food toward each others' faces.

A young boy tells another young boy that he will smash his head if a certain suggestion is ever made again.

One character mentions that a young boy is sometimes beaten by his drunken father.

Seemingly none.

A glob of green bird feces falls on a child's forehead. He wipes it off and looks at it. In other scenes, a young girl briefly chastises a young boy for farting, and a child jokes that a math book man committed suicide because he had too many problems.

Some of the parents/townspeople smoke. There is also a reference to the alcoholism of one of the children's father. No alcohol or drugs appear in the movie.

In the scene where the children steal milk and bread from the recluse woman and are ultimately intercepted by her pit bull is slightly intense, as the woman is wielding a long kitchen knife, thinking that the children are there to poach her mangoes. The children's reaction is somewhat comically dramatic, though. Later, mango robbers, who are also children but slightly older, actually do show up, and are chased off by the dog.

There is a scene in which children take refuge under a tree at nightfall but experience some cartoon-like demonic hallucinations due to hunger or low-blood sugar, perhaps fever.

At one point, there is some tension-filled commotion, with adults yelling at children, jerking them around a bit, as well as fussing with other adults. This upsets the children very much.
