No sex or nudity. The character Roodaka is somewhat of a seductress and uses some touch to persuade Vakama to join her on the "dark side" or the villains team.

She also references a marriage between herself and Sidorak, but their relationship is strictly political, and the marriage never takes place.

Some might find the way she places the Makuta stone between her breast plates and her malicious gasps questionable, though.

Lots of animated, stylized, comic book violence. This film is much more violent than the first films. At the end, a large war of spider like creatures vs. the Toa takes place. There are also many scenes of fist fighting, which can be found more brutal than the other films considering the Toa were made into animals.

The Toa dismember many spiders during the fight. Some are knocked out, one has its teeth punched out by a drill. Most of these instances of "animal abuse" happen offscreen, though. And although by the end of the fight, the battle scene is littered with pieces of dead spiders, it looks no worse than the untidy floor of an average, LEGO-loving kid would.

There is much more violence than the first two films and could be considered intense for toddlers to children of age 5. A few characters are killed (one onscreen, no gore whatsoever), and one character attempts to kill another, almost succeeding. All the above may be found intense.

Also, the introduction scene is purposely very frightening. There are many closeups of buzzsaw-like spider jaws, and one of said spiders howls in a very creepy tone.

One of the villains refers to the dead bodies of the heroes a handful of times.

In addition to the increased amount of violence, this film is also significantly darker in atmosphere and themes than the first two films. One of the heroes is "seduced" into turning against and hunting down his allies (in a similar vein to Star Wars: Episode III). It is frequently suggested throughout the film that there is an animalistic side to everyone waiting to take over that is devoid of any morals or positive emotions; this idea may be frightening to younger children.
