A survival story about a boy named Sami who is committed to a youth mental institution. He's completely introverted and won't speak to his roommate or his orderly; plus, his arm is broken. His mother insists that he doesn't need to be in the institution; he's perfectly fine. She's convinced that he's just getting over his parents' recent divorce. Flashbacks into Sami's recent past reveal exactly what led to him being committed to the institution. Slowly he starts to heal; unfortunately, his mental recovery comes at a price which he must pay.
