The theatrical release is not that violent, with blood being minimal, although the film does have a dark tone. The unrated version however is very bloody, with some graphic and large amounts of blood spurting from enemies when shot.

There's a large shootout in an office building between a a man and a SWAT team after one of the SWAT officers shoots the man's hostage (a large blood spray erupts from his chest). Much heavy gunfire is exchanged, and the room is destroyed.
Henchman are practically blown across rooms by shotguns, and machine gun fire riddles many people with bullets (no blood in either occasions, but one or two people have visible gunshot wounds with some blood).
