There is some sexuality/nudity in one scene, where Paul and Elli have sex in a forest hut, but nothing too graphic. Paul is completely naked, but only his backside and buttocks are shown. During sex, Elli removes part of her lace top revealing some of her breast for Paul to hold while they have sex.

Also there is quick nudity of Paul and Hilde, when they go swimming in the dark.

There is mild language matching to the time in the past.

People in the film often ingest alcohol getting drunken. Also they smoke cigarettes and cigars.

The way of thinking, which is followed by the protagonists can be seen as disturbing, because they do not care destroying their youth. Of course the scene decribed in 'violence and gore' are graphic, disturbing and quite shocking to the audience.
