The Widow (1960)

A young widow ignores her social position and produces a son by one of the farm hands. Both the farmhand and the baby are expelled from the house by her family who then re-educate her over the next twenty years to believe that this incident was just a product of a fever-dream. However, at the end of those twenty years, her adult son drops by for a visit.
