A 13 year old girl is explained to be raped by many men in prison and in one case she is revealed pregnant, although nothing is shown. The same 13 year old girl is attempted raped a man who she then kills in defense, nothing is shown.

There is a brief talk of abortion, nothing major.

The overall tone of the series is intense and disturbing. Teenagers and children are subjected to acts of savage and sadistic violence. One female teenager kills a man in self-defense as the man attempts to rape her. (It's implied that this teenager was raped earlier in the series).

King Hamdo is unhinged and child-like and inflicts great pain on those who threaten him. He brutalizes the children he enlists in his army and calls his assistant all matter of foul names for not giving him what he wants. His infantile nature combined with his casual use of extreme punishment make him a particularly disturbing presence on the show.
