Conspiracy (1989)

A British politician visits a brothel days before election day. While he is there a woman commits suicide. He is covered in her blood. Although he is not responsible for her death, he knows being caught in the brothel will ruin him. What to do? The politician and his ruthless aide bumble around trying to decide what to do and making a general mess of things until a mysterious operative named Stringer arrives and takes control. Stringer amazes them with technology, a cell phone a laptop computer.
