Maria realizes that she has always felt sexually inhibited. Rather than ruining yet another relationship, she decides to back away from her fiance, Dylan, for a period of time to work on her inner turmoil as well as her photography skills. She meets an enigmatic photographer, Jacob, who becomes her mentor in the world of photographic art.
