The Child of a Drunk (1961)

Nasos Pol--the famous young actor and successful director of a small acting troupe--returns to his hometown of Preveza after many years of absence. Brimming with vivid memories of an innocent childhood scarred by his abusive and constantly drunk father, Nasos reunites with loved ones and dear friends, as his dormant love for the neighbourhood's belle, Christina, awakes. However, will Christina reciprocate the feelings of the drunkard's child?
