When Hatred Rules (1959)

Beyond prejudice and social status, the young couple of the affluent businessman, Dinos Maris, and the impecunious unemployed woman, Anna, decide to get married. Having already made plans for their shared future, they return from France to Greece, only to come face-to-face with Dinos' haughty relatives; his spiteful mother, and his equally malicious sister. Now, the dream turns into a nightmare, and in this uncomfortable and bitter relationship, there is no easy way out. Can there be love when hatred rules?
