La Vénus d'Ille (1962)

La Vénus d'Ille is the name of an antique brass statue unearthed by an archaeologist. On the day of his marriage, as jest the young man places his wedding ring around the statue's finger. That night, he is visited by the goddess, who smothers him with a metallic kiss and drives his bride insane.
