Panos, a first-rate professional wrestler coming from the wrong side of the tracks, has the passionate aspiration to finally wear the prestigious heavyweight championship belt, after rigorous training. Focused, well-prepared, and thirsting for the title, an unexpected love affair with the rich and pampered, Stella Logotheti, is the least a champion-in-the-making would want; however, love is as grand as it is unpredictable. But, alas, fate seems against the fervent lovers, and a terrible injury will threaten not only Panos and Stella's relationship but also the athlete's life.
