this film is available in two editions,the R edition and the Ultimate.both of them contain approximately the same amount of violence.in the ultimate edition there are certrain scenes with bloodier effects than the original. Overal,the movie contains extreme violence and strong bloody gore.the main goal of the protagonists is to exterminate the ressurected humans by any means.the zombies are killed in various brutal ways like getting shot multiple times,beaten viciously or chopped to pieces.some characters die in a very violent way(headshots,facial mutilation)

the film is brutal. NOT FOR PEOPLE THAT CANT STAND THE SIGHT OF BLOOD.

examples: a yakuza member is shot in chest.He is ressurected and the others shoot him about 20 times(very bloody,his chest explode.)

The film is very intense due to its graphic violence. The resurrected are creepy but predictable,so they don't possess serious threat to the protagonists.The fact that the film takes place in a secluded forest where deceased humans can return to life is somehow frightening.
