The suspect then picks up a kid as a hostage and the cop shoots the suspect in the head, but we then see that he also hit a pregnant woman in the leg and there's lot of blood and screaming (we hear that the woman lost the child from that). There's a later flashback to some of that footage.
The lieutenant threatens to kill the two suspects if they don't confess on the tape forcing them to confess. He holds the gun that he thinks they used to murder the cop onto their hands about to click the revolver. He is then shot in the back by another police officer and dies
