Hearts in the Storm (1963)

After a night of passion with a man who promised her the stars and the moon, a poor but proud young woman ends up abandoned while pregnant with his son. Eventually, almost a decade later, the same boy winds up in the orphanage, as both his mother and his grandmother struggle to make ends meet. Forsaken and rejected, the wronged woman still tries to find the father of her child after all this time; however, in vain. Will the irresponsible father realise his mistake?
