Ketu Qiuhen (1931)

Scholar Miu Lin-sin falls in love with prostitute Mak Chau-kuen. Miu leaves Mak to join the army and to commemorate his love, Miu composes a ballad, "The Pain of Separation". Later, Miu searches far and wide for Mak to make her his wife.
