Schreiben gegen den Tod (2002)

A Swiss woman has a pen pal in a death row of a prison in Texas. She builds up a long and intense relationship to him and so, intensively and personally committed, she brings in some humanity in this machinery of prison. In this way she tries to fight against death penalty.
