One plot line involves a 17-year-old teenage girl who discovers she is pregnant from her uncommitted boyfriend. They briefly reunite but she realizes it's not a workable relationship and leaves him. She gives birth in a hospital and finds and finds a home.

Violent teenager punches his teacher at school. Later, boy kidnaps kidnaps and terrorizes teacher's young sons. When confronted, the whole family gangs up on the teacher and beats him. He ends up with some pretty good facial and kidney bruising.

Father searches for his missing boys. Confrontation of teenager by adult is tense. Young boys discover a dead body from old age, probably their first.
