Hussain (Omar Sharif) is a decent yet socially-awkward employee hopelessly trying to win the heart of his cousin Samiha (Soad Hosny). Samiha's father (Youssef Wahby), always the experienced playboy, hatches a clever plot to re-invent Hussain's image and help him get the girl.
