Mr. Jacques and Others (1966)

New fashionable shoes cause untold troubles to Papik-agha (segment "The Cost of Being Polite"). Mr. Jacques is considered to be a spy. Although the people around criticize him in absence, they fawn on him in presence (segment "The Sham Informer"). Hunter Hakob is appointed to be the priest in his own village and promises not to hunt any more. Eventhough he breaks his promise, he is allowed to stay in the parish (segment "The Priest's Promise").
