Folguedos no Firmamento (1984)

Japanese guy has a quarrel with his tacky and inhibited girlfriend in a drive-in theater, because she wouldn't kiss him. He goes out of the car to buy some snacks and, when he returns, she had turned into a more interesting lady, perhaps a side-effect of the short documentary she'd just seen, about Ms. Ada Rogato, a pioneer female aviator in Brazil.
