Hari ng yabang (1997)

Handsome, ambitious Adelbert (Estrada) is determined to marry a wealthy girl. He pursues other women in their province but overlooks his neighbor Elena who is in love with him--but not rich. One day, Elena accidentally overhears Adelbert saying that she's not the one for him because of her status; hurt, she leaves town. Soon after, Adelbert realizes that Elena is important to him and begins to look for her.
