There is one conversation in which Susan discusses with Social Services the 'fact' that her adopted son has been sexually abusing the mentally disabled female girl in the household to be certain and possibly others. It is spoken of without any specifics.

Nothing he says is rooted in any 'real' sense or ideology, more so as a way to get a rise out of his family and get attention.

Several characters including one of the main characters die during the production. The fact that its real may make it seem that much more intense.
