Vernyy Ruslan (Istoriya karaulnoy sobaki) (1992)

Ruslan, a shepherd dog, is a camp guard dog who is out of work. The camp was disbanded. Ruslan runs to a neighboring village and there he meets a former prisoner, now a settler. He become the new owner of Ruslan.
