Half Dead, Half Alive (1987)

Li Qingyuan, the chief engineer of a solar equipment factory, makes the company profitable and globally accepted. The government appreciates him and appoints him as the deputy city mayor. But Li does not like the government position and gets away to avoid the appointment press conference for him. Some accidents happen on Li's escape way and make people misunderstanding that he is dead. Many stupid and ridiculous things happen under this circumstance.
