IN one short Donald and Goofy both die and become ghosts offscreen. When Goofy learns what has happened he cheerfully remarks "So that's what all that noise was about!"

There is a short where Huey, Dewey, and Louie seek revenge against Donald after he steals their candy. They chase him around eyes glowing and chase him into an open grave. They stand over the grave with shovels threatening to bury him alive while he begs for mercy.
