In one episode, a character tells one of the protagonists that he will do "certain things" to two of the other characters to "make them mine"

Nudity is suggested but not shown (the characters who transform into animals are naked when they transform back to humans, but there is always a cloud that obscures details.) Also some mild sexual innuendo (i.e., teasing about a boy being "hot for" a girl, etc.) Certain of the characters are cross-dressers, but this is not much commented on. Because it is a Japanese series, the conventions of dress are different from American TV anyway (i.e., both genders wear kimonos on occasion.)A scene at a hot spring where they are naked but nothing is shown and the boys and girls are separated.

A lot of what amounts to fist-fighting; no gore.A couple of scenes where Akito is very violent, but nothing worse than the fist fights.

The series includes quite a bit of mild profanity - the "d',"h," "b" (with reference to women) and "p" (with reference to being upset) words, by my last count; there may be more in the same vein that I've missed. No "f" or "c" (with reference to women) words.

Certain of the adult characters smoke on occasion. The scenes are typically brief and the smoking is not commented on. As is typical of anime, smoking is often used to connote that a character is older. Because teenagers and young adults are drawn in substantially similar fashion, conventions such as dress (i.e., wearing a suit) and habits (i.e., smoking) can be used to convey age.

In the later scenes, a familiar character takes on a somewhat frightening form. However, I doubt that any child old enough to be interested in the series would find it distressing.Some very emotionally intense scenes in episodes 24, 25,and 26.
