Canudos (1978)

Documentary about the Brazilian history episode known as "Guerra de Canudos" (Canudos War). It was a revolt leaded by Antônio Conselheiro in the region called "Canudos" in the backwoods of the State of Bahia, in the late 19th century. The film tries to research the event as told by the eye-witnesses of the fact.
