The film Eräs elämän murhenäytelmä (1916), directed and written by Konrad Tallroth, was never premiered due to a censorship ban. In the melodrama, filmed in Helsinki, Arvid Skog falls in love with cabaret singer Lussie Dalty and, much to the shock of his mother, marries her, this adventurous woman. Soon after the wedding, Lussie embarks on an affair with the Russian Lieutenant Arnold, which eventually leads to tragic events. All the film's footage has been destroyed.
