No Budget Story (1997)

Unable to make ends meet, and already two months behind in the rent, the impecunious pipe-dreamer and aspiring filmmaker, Eirinaios, stubbornly refuses to accept an ignoble fate. Fantasising about making the ideal independent sci-fi movie, Eirinaios leaves no stone unturned in his search for funding, only to have the door slammed in his face by every producer in town. Then, unexpectedly, Tolis, a shady entrepreneur and former adult-movie producer, takes a shine to the vain young director and his uncommercial work, bent on filming a timeless love story. Indeed, Tolis seems to believe in Eirinaios; however, his artistic new protégé, too, must do something in return. Will Eirinaios betray his beliefs to finish his perpetually incomplete no-budget story?
