Daddy's Girl (1918)

William Nordly leaves his fortune to little Marie Standlaw, and soon after, her family moves into Nordly's estate. Marie's father John, a shiftless dreamer, starts to channel the fortune into wildcat business schemes and takes up with his former sweetheart Mildred, now widowed and rather loose. When Mrs. Standlaw breaks down, Marie, having overheard her father schedule a meeting with Mildred, walks through the streets in the dead of night to Mildred's home. Her pleas bring John home to a happy reunion with his wife.
