Revolver (1988)

In what turned out to be the final work of Toshiya Fujita, we follow the titular revolver as it passes, coincidentally or deliberately, from owner to owner and home to home bringing misery, curse or surprise to its then current owner. By following the gun the viewer meets its owners and gets to know their lives in a nondescript middle-class Japanese town. As it happens, an evil lies dormant in the hearts of some and a vile instrument can awaken it.
