Barbara Wood: Herzflimmern (1998)

Three medical students share an appartment in Los Angeles. Their studies leave them little time for a private life. One has a boyfriend whom she neglects, the other flirts heavily with a young intern and the third lives a very withdrawn life because her face was burnt when she was a child.
