The Jewel (1933)

A girl who works as a secretary discovers that her mother has been imprisoned for theft of a family jewel that has never been found. After her release from prion, both mother and daughter are trzpped in an insane asylum. It turns out the girl's really Lady Joan, the heir to a great legacy.
