Jyot Jale (1973)

Dr. Narayan Gupta, an idealistic and kind-hearted gentleman, loses his son Ashok, simply because, as a father, he did not attend to his duties towards his son and raise him as a nice human-being. This sets him on a path to bring change among kids and youths turning towards bad habits and change their outlook towards life. This brings Dr. Gupta at a criss-cross with a 'good at heart' but short-tempered youth Ramu, whose father is an alcoholic and irresponsible towards his family duties. Dr. Gupta realizes brighter side of Ramu and decides to bring him back to be a nice person. With much ado, Dr. Gupta succeeds.
