The Smart Aleck (1966)

One of the otherwise competent Miltos' problems is that he is chronically unemployed, and to make matters worse, he is engaged to his long-term fiancée, Julia, who is at the end of her tether. As a result--with Miltos being unable to provide for himself--Julia keeps her relationship secret, taking extra care to prevent her father--the wealthy businessman, Sokratis Panas--from meeting with her lover, for fear of rejecting him. However, when Sokratis decides to hire a new employee, Miltos will seize the opportunity, posing as an imbecile. Will Miltos' whole bumbling idiot routine help him win the respect of his future father-in-law?
