To Live Again (1998)

A mother locks her teenage daughter in her room after allegedly showing signs of insanity. Over a decade later, the authorities remove the daughter, and an investigation ensues. A social worker makes attempts to rehabilitate and heal the woman's mental anguish caused by 16 years of isolation and abuse.
